Come as we explore wines of the various lands throughout the United States as well as around the world. Each month we will learn about different wines and the regions they come from.
Everyone familair with wine and travel knows that California is famous for wine. But what about right here in Missouri? What about Kansas. Oh yeah, Kansas and Missouri have wineries. As a matter of fact almost every state in the U.S. has at least one winery.
Travel
We also learn about each region. Each areas wine and each country. We'll visit states throughout the United States and overseas to learn about about the area, their culture, the sites and what to do. Learn about London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, New York, Miami, Napa and even Sturgis.
Each month we'll go over what makes these cities and towns great places to visit, enjoy and even experience a little vino from the surrounding areas.
Do you like Harley Davidsons? Maybe you should try Sturgis Merlot or for the really adventurous Full Throttle Syrah right from the country's biggest stomping ground for the Harley diehards, Sturgis, South Dakota.
How about New York? The Big Apple State boasts almost 40 wineries! Even Hawaii and Alaska have wineries that we will try and choose from. Of course we won't forget about California. Further, we'll also learn and enjoy wines from around the world; France, Germany, Italy, even South Africa and China!
The Main Event is BYOW (Bring Your Own Wine), as well as a $5.00 participant fee! We'll also go to a variety of other venues for fun and tastings. Come eat, enjoy and have a great time, otherwise I'll have to send my brother, GuidoDinero after ya.* * * *
We'll wrap it all up with plans to go visit an area. Based on what our members decide they want as their get away, we'll plan a trip every quarter for those who want to go and enjoy a really great time.

The group is comprised of about 70% singles and 30% married or in serious relationship so everyone is welcome. We are not a "dating" group but if you meet someone and begin dating that is certainly OK. In addition to our monthly club events I will also list special events hand picked by yours truly that are not on meetup just for our happy little vino indulging buddies.
Sometimes I may introduce an outside sales presentation to the group. We may be sponsored by certain organizations that wish to present products and services to the group. If you have a club appropriate service please contact Doc for an inquire to sponser and present to the group.
We had a situation where a foreigner contacted our group begging for money posing as a member of the group. It was quickly caught and reported to Meetup and I circulated a memo that this was not a part of our group. Meetup shut down the account it came from. Luckily, no one got hurt. This is not a charity! Do NOT ask members of the club for money or charity! I may introduce programs that will be voted on for community involvement but outside requests for money or charity are not allowed and members doing so will be terminated immediately and permanently.
